February 2009 Events

Family Home Evening -- Monday, February 2nd at 6:30 at Bill Moon's house.  Jerry Lynn will be teaching us how to make pizzas.

Bishop's Cabin -- Friday, February 6th thru Saturday the 7th.   There will be dinner, a warm fire, games, movies, breakfast, and fun snow activities.  Meet at the church at 5:30 or 7 pm on Friday for carpooling.  Bring toothbrush, sleeping bag, snow clothes, etc.

Stake Conference -- Saturday, February 7th at 7 pm at the stake center.  Sunday the 8th at 2 pm at the regional center.

Jericho Road -- will be giving a fireside on Sunday, February 8th at 7 pm at North Canyon Stake Center.

Family Home Evening -- Monday, February 8th at 7 pm at Jenny Gill's house.

Blood Drive -- Thursday, February 12th from 3 to 8 pm at the stake center.

Enrichment Night -- Thursday, February 12th.

24-Stake Fireside -- Sunday, February 22nd at 7 pm at the regional center.

December 2008 Events

• Tithing Settlements - before and after church.  Sign up on the door of the clerk's office.
  
• Prelude to Christmas - a stake musical program on Sunday, December 14th at 7 pm at the stake center.
  
• Christmas Party - Monday, December 15th from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Gallivan Center.
  
• Choir Practice - Sunday, December 21st right after church in the Relief Society room.
  
• Bishop's Open House - Sunday, December 21st from 6 to 8 pm.
  

Halloween Party Smash!

This year's Halloween Party and Costume Contest was a big hit, featuring such great costumes as:

• a bearded pirate,
  
• a handyman with a giant wrench,
• Ginny Weasly,
• Clark Kent,
  
• the Flash,
  
• the yip-yipping alien from Sesame Street,
• Mike Brown and Matt Bond as each other,
  
• and our judges: Simon, Paula, and Randy from American Idol.
